Celebrate Christian Unity

& Diversity At Peace!

Members of Restoration Ministries of India share a song in
two languages while celebrating Christian Unity & Diversity.

On Saturday, September 25th, a unique and exciting approach to the ministry of Christ and outreach to the surrounding community was celebrated
at the Peace Lutheran Church Community Spiritual Center.
Today there are five congregations that share the Peace facility -- offering five distinct worship opportunities for people in the neighborhood and surrounding multicultural communities.
They are:

Loving Restoration Ministries led by
Pastor Earl J. Wright, Jr. & Evangelist Elaine P. Wright

Peace Lutheran Church led by
Pastor Tim Larson

Restoration Ministries of India led by
Pastor M. S. Joshua

Church of Abundant Life led by
Rev. Dr. Benjamin Baker

and Point of Vision Presbyterian Church led by
Rev. Dr. John Biersdorf

God is doing a new thing -- and a shared worship service and a potluck supper among congregations was a great way to create stronger bonds of fellowship.
Parts of the service were be led by each congregation and the music reflected our various traditions.  The supper featured ethnic and favorite dishes prepared by members of each congregation. Plans are in the works to gather together again!

"Friends Of Peace"
Campaign

We are fortunate at Peace Lutheran to have such wonderful rapport and good will from all the people we partner with.  Our congregation has helped a lot of people help other people.  Now it's time to let those who love us to help us back.
We need to raise enough money to get us through the winter. The Spirit can move the hearts of those who care to help us -- but not unless we make our need known.
So beginning Saturday, September 25th, I invite you to join with me in making our need known to every Friend of Peace and trust the power of the Spirit to bless our faith and ministry.
